Just considering creating a gaming PC and was wondering what the general consensus was on Dakka (Yes, I know computer threads don't generally do well here, but shhhhhhhh!)

Specs list:
Case: Casecom 5788
Motherboard: Asus P8B75-M LX Socket 1155 DVD D-Sub LAN 8-Channel HD uATX Motherboard
Processor: Intel Core i5 3450 3.1GHz Socket 1155 6MB Cache Processor
RAM: Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600MHz XMS3 Memory
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 650 1GB GDDR5 VGA Dual DVI HDMI PCI-E Graphics Card (PS: Does anybody know where I can get this without the AC3 coupon for a cheaper price? I don't want the game...)
HDD: Samsung 1TB Spinpoint M8 Internal Hard Drive (for storage)
SDD: Sandisk 64GB Pulse SSD
PSU: Casecom 500W 12cm Fan PSU

Also, has anybody got any suggestions for good attachments, i.e. headsets, particular mice or keyboards?
Plus, in case anybody was interested, I was planning on running this on Ubuntu. This is for two reasons:

Valve are probably going to start optimizing for Linux systems for their console thing and the fact Microsoft is becoming a competitor.

Everything looks to be in order but you might want to consider getting win 8 as it will take years before linux is a major player in the gaming industry even with valve backing it.

If price is an issue (for the windows) drop the ssd as it is fairly pointless. The 1 extra second you gain by starting the pc isn't worth 100$ (or whatever the ssd costs)

Saving yourself headache is worth win 8's cost.
