To answer your questions, yes this list is legal and no, you don't need to have 4 core (I think you mean troops, I sense a fantasy player). Since you are staying on one FOC, you only need two.
On to this list, it looks like it could be fun (zombies ftw) but you will have precious few things on the table (minus the flyer) which means if you go against a gunline list, you'll be in trouble as you will lose one, maybe both LR by turn two.
Also, where did you plan on putting Typhus?

This is my Leman Russ. There are many out there like it, but this one is mine. Without it, I am useless. Without me, it is useless.
Obliterators: They've got a gun for that. |

Thanks for your comments.
Honestly I dont know where to put typhus. Ive watched some youtube and he does ok with zombies. Ive seen him do ok with the ADL. I was thinkin have zombies n front of ADL and have Ty in the ADL. Or have oblits in ADL with Typhus. . Where would you put him?

Where to put typhus is always a question to be honest!
I'd put him with the Oblits and deep strike him/them somewhere interesting

I wouldn't think so?
Either that or drop him with some of the termies?
I'm sure you could find something interesting to do with the points you'll save on the ADL, that could almost be another 3 terminator squad to keep Typus company when he drops in. Throw in some combi meltas and you'll be good to go

Drop Trooper with Demo Charge
|
The thing about 40k is that you'll need troops to grab objectives... Their will be up to four of them and you only have two troops who's sole objective is to get in the way of the enemy.. So ultimately while zombie lists are fun they'd hard to do cause you need some troop choice to claim objectives and survive.. So start again.. And as for ur termies! U need to decide if you charging them into CC with the assut vehicle or marching.. If you want cc then you'll only need one unit.. You need to specialise the units in 40k.. Know what you'll be using them for and when and mould them to that task , don't overspend on one unit by multitasking it spend those points on another unit instead (like plague rmarines with meltas in a rhino to tanking)

I love the versatility of the termies. I see your point. Should focus more in roles. I want to protect the termies as well make them more mobile for like objectives. Should i just drop the LR and deep strike them with the oblits abd typhus?

Drop Trooper with Demo Charge

At least one group of Terms are mandatory I reckon in CSM.. as for deployment .. it depends on your weapons.. IE obliterators DS and shoot all weapons with termies DS near and ... shooting all weapons? hmmm why put a pony next to a horse to draw the cart.. know what I mean? if you were to deep strike them in to go in H-H just remember you gotta survive a whole turn.. maybe even in the open.. so be VERY careful about that..and remember you don't always get a chance to choose WHEN they DS... if you wanna use the land raider its a legit tactic.,. one of the most expensive but hey..
just make sure that your not sinking points into them unnecessarily! ie drop the combis and make them shine in combat, its tempting to justify sinking 40 odd points to justify free turn of pew pew before the charge! but spread the love...
some of the much more experienced players have a motto of sorts.. You should be able to watch your opponent destroy ANY unit of your force do nothing but shrug.. if your hands are in your head cause your looking a defeat by loosing one unit.. you've lost before you started, cause NOTHING is uncounterable... I have many friends that LOVE to go after their opponents fave unit.. they demoralise and then defeat 'em. You should look over your list and think.. ok so if THAT dies (cause it WILL) then I have those TWO to take its place... instead of 'oh damn there goes my anti-tank.' or "well that's my h-h in the open" look at how YOU would counter YOUR list... when your have list that makes you laugh when your enemy just used an entire shooting phase to kill ONE unit cause they just ignored the seemingly 'gakky' redundancies your on a winner.
END RANT

As far as termies go which is better for deep striking? Tzeentch or Nurgle?

Typhus has 3 options here :
DS with the oblits
running with a 4-strong squad of terminators in a LR
or just straight walking among a huge group of zombies.
If I were to modify this list, I'd drop 1 termi squad, and 1 zombie squad, to add in PM. They really are good offensive objectives grabbers. As for your terminators loadout, it seems strange, especially the 4 CF guys. Automatically Appended Next Post: Ineedvc2500 wrote:As far as termies go which is better for deep striking? MoN. If only to be able to put Typhus in the squad should you need to.

Ah i knew it. There should just be one chain fist right? The rest power weapons. Chain fists are good but 4 is too expensive. Honestly i like the way they looked so i bought 4 heehee.

Yes.
In general, CF works so well you do not need a ton per squad. Keep yours in the middle of your squad, and that should be enough to arm any vehicule in the way.
As for the power weapons, it's up to your personnal taste. Axe against TEQ, sword against MEQ, and mauls are the prefered choice for TAC lists. If you really want a CC squad (and that's what you want if you stick Typhus in it), I'd say 2 dual LC, 1 axe, 1 CF (those 2 with combi melta/plasma).

LR's are good mobile or static Gun platform. personally i wouldn't use LR's in a chaos army when i do they take role as LR 1 / LR 2 deployed in a choke point. thus bottle necking the foe so they only have one place to go and that is into the waiting clutches of Zombies. however said that is if you get to set-up units/s first.
-----------
revised list looks good. i'd grab some Plague bearers as well. thats just me though
