I'm assuming that when a unit with Brotherhood of Sorcerers fires a psychic shooting attack, that it is focused from one of the models. Such that you only need line of sight from at least one model to get the full number of shots. Does this sound correct?

If so, if unit of Pink Horrors is hiding behind an ADL with a Quad-Gun, one model is generating and shooting the psychic attack, and any other model could fire the Quad-Gun?

Does that sound right?

Huh, it actually makes sense as far as I can see from the rules..interesting.

It's unclear, you can't really just assume that a single model performs the psychic power because the rules don't tell us that, but you can't assume they all do either.

The rules simply don't adequately inform which models in the unit count as having used whatever psychic power was performed, it badly needs an FAQ.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

I would disagree:

Rulebook Pg. 34 wrote: A unit with this special rule counts as a Mastery Level 1 psyker.

Rulebook Pg. 69 wrote: Witchfire powers are manifested during the psyker's shooting phase instead of firing a weapon.

Rulebook Pg. 96 wrote: ... a model may choose to fire one of the emplaced weapons instead of his own

NB, all emphases are my own.

Here, we can see that the Horrors are considered one, singular, psyker for the purposes of BoS. Therefore, if this "psyker" manifests a witchfire power, none of the models can use an emplaced weapon because they have manifested a witchfire power, instead of firing a weapon.

I agree that it should have a FAQ entry. The way I've been playing it is if one model can see you, I get to shoot all 2D6 (or more depending on warp charge). I've been keeping most of the unit out of LOS, and just peeking one out to shoot. It minimizes the return fire a bit.
