Hello all. I have been a lurker on the forums now for quite a while and thought that I should bite the bullet and sign up. I play mostly Warhammer 40K. I got into the game because I was the guy in my D&D group who was painting all of the PCs miniatures. Oddly enough, I started painting the figures from Warhammer Fantasy that I thought were interesting even before I knew that it was a game... Anyway, I hope to have pictures of my models up very soon.

I am not mean, I just don't care about your feelings. If you can't take constructive criticism, then you're just a sissy.

Hello, I just signed up as well for the same reason, I lurked awhile and decided to join. A DnD player? I never had a chance to really play except a game of 3.5. Do you find the pen and paper games more fun than wargames? I think Dark Heresy is more fun than 40k tabletop, just trying to find peoples' stance on this.

Thank you for the welcome! That's a hard question to answer. Honestly, for me, it is a toss up... I have played Dark Heresy as well and really like it, however when I play in a D&D game it is a unique world that has a multitude of endless possibilities. When I play Warhammer I love the logical challenge, as well as the unpredictability of opponents.

Thanks for the welcome! The Star Wars reference make me feel right at home.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
