So the BRB says all Flying MCs that are deployed "at the start of the game" must be in glide mode. My question is you win the turn roll-off and go first, does that mean on your first turn you cannot have your flying MCs enter swoop mode? So basically, does a flying MC that starts on the board have to spend the entire first round in glide mode, regardless of which player goes first? Does the phrase "At the start of the game" mean the first turn of the game, or the first round, or just the pre-set up phase when forces are deployed?

When they are deployed they are in glide mode.

Before they move they can choose Swooping or Gliding.
