• Deep Strike
• Eternal Warrior
• Fearless
• He Comes, He Goes
• Hit & Run
• Skilled Rider
Bike of Doom: The daemonic machine that carries the Doomrider to battle takes many shapes, but is always awesome looking. The Bike of Doom is armed with a twin-linked blastmaster.
He Comes, He Goes: The Doomrider must be held in reserve, regardless of mission. After he arrives, roll a D6 at the end of the Assault phase if The Doomrider has not killed a model that turn and is not locked in combat. On a 1, Doomrider grows bored of the battle and is removed from play as a casualty. It is possible for The Doomrider to arrive and vanish on the same turn!

Why a jetbike? He's just on a bike.

Only a bike? Surely you jest, good sir. His old (very old) rules allowed the bike to move as a jump pack (Wheels of Fire). I think the best approximation of how he is supposed to scream around the battlefield is to make his bike effectively a Jetbike. Model him on a normal bike if you want, but he's doing sweet jumps off random terrain, riding up walls, and doing sick wheelies on skyscrapers.

Would he be an Independent Character or just a Character? He could be an HQ choice...

Does his 'He comes, He goes' rule allow him to come back on after he has got bored and left? Because at the minute, you are killing him off for not killing.

He's intentionally not an HQ choice, and intentionally not an Independent Character as neither of those things fit the original rules (he was a special character that was HQ but didn't count as compulsory HQ - a strange artifact of how they used to do special characters) and he didn't work with others. Think of him as a daemon prince on a bike (same statline but loses Monstrous Creature).
The old He Comes, He Goes also explicitly had the possibility of him being summoned and then leaving the same turn, being removed as a casualty. In fact, this version is actually a substantial buff to him, as the old rule was roll a D6 each turn no matter what - on a 1 he takes off. At least this way you can keep him occupied.
Edit: Ah, just saw the later version of him where he was a normal HQ choice and Independent Character (looks like Third Edition, the last time he ever appeared in canon I think). Hm. Well in that case he should be a normal HQ choice and Independent Character.

Yeah thought that he comes he goes rule was similar to the old one. But wasn't that also kinda the reason he didn't see much action. You fork out for a character who HAS to be in reserve and then he might just turn around and ditch you. I do think his stats are a bit crazy high though. T6? Sure T5 from the bike but he's slaanesh not nurgle. It also kinda makes eternal warrior unnecessary at T6. I also feel that his W, I and A are at least 1 point too high.
Only other suggestion would be something like, give him a 3+ save, and give him a rule like exhaust cloud rule that orks have for the cover save when moving. I dunno maybe call it euphoria cloud or something as everything he passes is blinded by sensation...

I don't know much about Doomrider, but the model is clearly approximately normal bike size. Definitely not a DP's statline.

He's a few editions old.
Back then, not all demon princes were massive Monsterous Creatures.
He's Explicitly a Demon Prince, but yes, rode a Space Marine Bike
I like the re-do, but i'd remove EW, and add an invuln save instead

How about TL DoomSiren instead of blastmaster as he screams into a mic while riding his bike
Maybe also a drug chart for whatever he is currently addicted to maybe a souped up DarkEldar drug chart. And because drugs, FnP is needed (just thought about slaneesh bikes granting FnP, nvm)
Only a power sword? He's not going to be killing much like that so how how about a super syringe of some sort
