It was mentioned in the other " GW prohibits..." thread, but it was missed completely in favor of people staying on-topic. Arguably, prohibiting all online sales will affect many more people.
From Faeit 212:
http://natfka.blogspot.com/2013/03/games-workshop-policy-changes-coming.html
Games Workshop is stepping up its restrictions on online sales. In fact, according to this bit, GW has informed online retailers that starting June 15th online sales will be stopping in order to help protect the brick and mortar shops. check out the latest......
Here is a link to the new policies.

Miniwargaming just posted that there is a new GW document that will prevent the online sale of their products starting June 15th. I already knew this was the direction GW was going but I still find it extremely disapointing. Thought the community should know.
Important part of the document:
The prohibition against online retail sales of GAMESWORKSHOP products is restated and now expanded in its applicability to all North American Retailers both in the United States and in Canada;"

If so, someone went to a great deal to fake it.

This policy or one very much like it has been in effect in the US for literally a decade.

Yeah its not that this was missed, its that it small potatoes in comparison.
Online sales have been prohibited in the US since 2003. Why do you think places like Warstore and Frontline ask you to call them to place an order? The major change as far as online sales is the expansion to include Canada.
Prohibition of bit sales by trade accounts and the ways in which they are closing loopholes (like prohibiting sales to non-consumers by trade accounts) is a much bigger story.

Already in the other thread and not a change. This is the 2003 US policy applied to Canada.
