Simply put: what do you speculate will happen next?

Personally, with Doctor Halsey defecting to the resurgent Covenant Empire, and the Sangheili apparently willing to work with Human defectors, I see the Covenant Empire going to attempt to 'liberate' Insurrectionist colonies from the UNSC and integrate them into the empire, and conquering other loyal colonies as opposed to simply glassing them from orbit. What do you guys think?

On another note, this question is just for starters. If you want to make and discuss your own speculations, go ahead. It would be nice to get some responses to my question first though...

You might want to pay attention to Episode 10 of Spartan Ops' cutscenes.

Setting aside halsey returning as a cyborg and vowing revenge on the UNSC, I can fully expect the Didact to return and continue to be a cliche villain. Also Cortana's corrupted AI alter egos may return to be something like a new villain (I never for a moment thought she had "died" at the end of halo 4).

Also I am DESPERATE for the arbiter to make a return, it would be great to see his faction get involved with the promethians.

Agreed, I believe the Didect will return to be the villian...or at least something Forerunner related will. I'm honestly hoping to see some action against the Innies, since they're popping back up and being a threat to the UNSC.

Even before the Great Schism, the Sangheili wanted to assimilate the Humans, not wipe us out. Humanity's fierce resistance earned their respect. Also, Jul doesn't hate Humanity itself; he hates the UNSC. The fact that he's willing to work with Humans, and even make a deal with Halsey, is proof of this. If he hated Humanity itself, he would never do that.

Humans are developing bio weapons to starve the elites of their staple food sources and give weapons to elite extremists to incite civil war.

Well, that might change given how Halsey's now helping them.

Personally, my long-term speculation is that the Human-centric UNSC is going to collapse like the old, xeno-centric Covenant Empire did, and the survivors are going to integrate with one another to form a new empire. The Librarian will probably have a hand in that, preferring a multi-species empire with Humans as first among equals as opposed to the Forerunner Ecumene who forcibly devolved every sapient species they encountered in the name of the Mantle. Ironically enough, the ancient Human Empire had significant non-Human influence in it as well.

Not really, considering that despite everything she sacrificed for the sake of Humanity, the UNSC or rather ONI has just decided to throw her away and kill her. I sincerely hope those bitches Parangosky and Osman meet the same fates as the late Prophet of Truth.
