Ok. So I recently scrapped all of my other armies to focus on one army. I chose the necrons for my army. Well after couple battle forces and other stray models I now don't know what to get to push my army up to the point where I can build lists that can win at points levels higher than 1500 points. Here is what I have so far...
1x night/doom scythe
1x triarch stalker
2x Doomsday ark
1x annihilation/command barge
5x deathmarks
5x praetorians
night bringer
10x gauss immortals
10x tesla immortals
29x warriors
3x wraiths
2x crypteks
1x Destroyer lord
1x lord w/ SoL and res orb
1x lord w/ war scythe
1x lord w/ war scythe and res orb
tryzan the infinite
5x scarab bases
I really can not decide what to get. Generally I like to put all of my vehicles on the field and dare my opponent to destroy them all... In recent days this has not seemed to be a problem for them... I really don't use praetorians because well they suck. I got em' cheap though and the wraiths seem to be just too small a unit to do much... I want to make an order for more models but don't want to spend more than 100 bucks and I always order from mini market so they are 25% off! what should I get?

Stikk bommas are special among ork society for one reason - They know when you pull the pin out of a stikk bomb you throw the bomb not the pin!

Personally, I'd get another Annihilation Barge.
Those things pump out serious firepower and are decent Anti-Air units too.
Three Wraiths can pump out decent damage, put a Destroyer Lord in with them for added punch (and Preferred Enemy)

My cousin always runs his wraiths in 5s or 6s. they seem to survive long enough to get to combat. Also you can try maneuvering shenanigans to move a guy with less wounds to the front to soak up more fire. Also, more doom scythes and those things that create d3 necrons a turn.....thing is stupidly annoying to go up against

And I only say that half-jokingly. My Necron/Chaos list has won me hundreds of dollars in tournaments.

Ghost Arks! They are the most versitile unit in the whole codex. I run 2 usually.
-Can fire at 3 targets
-4hp
-AV 13
-Skimmer
-Regens Warriors
-Can hold Crypteks for str 8 ap 2 goodness
-Rad looking
-Living Metal
-Caunts as an assault vehicle
-All passengers can fire
-100 pts !!!
Con: Open topped
If I had to choose between these and Wraiths being in the dex, I'd choose these. They are absolutely insane.

So basically you want to run an Av13 Vehicle Wall list like I do.
Here are a few recommendations:
First, 3x Anni Barges. You get lord models and you get 3 TL Tesla Destructors. These things are gross and should you roll up big guns never tire,... scoring skimmers that are Av13. Good luck, have fun!
Switch those Doomsday Arks(DArks) to Ghost Arks (GA). DArks don't benefit from being a skimmer ( they have to move to get jink, but can't move to fire at full strength) and Ghost Arks are one of the most effective troop transports in the game. They give a middle finger to heldrakes, have jink saves versus heavy weapons, and are open topped; riddle your enemy with ALL THE GAUSS!
Get a second TS and just use the heat rays.
One night scythe with Tesla immortals is fun, but also is another night scythe with 10 deathmarks. Deathmarks will help against the new tough daemons and T7+ nonsense with biomancy and MCs.
Finally, once you get your Av13 skimmer army up, bring Imotek! Almost all your guns will be 24" range and focus on volume vs. distance. Your skimmers will get a net bonus from the cover of darkness + jink and you can reroll to seize on a 4+.
I intend to try offsetting dropping wraiths + a destroyer lord for Coteaz + DCA + Stormraven as allies. Then I get a rerollable 4+ to seize the initiative. I'm probably going first!
The Chaos idea is dirty, too. Orks make good allies, as well. The trick to wraiths is running a Destroyer Lord with them and learning not to balls out with them, but use them as a decisive counter charge unit or defense unit, IMO.
Hope my rambling helps. I love my Necrons, my opponents? Nope.
