Say I have a squad of Dire Avengers. Can more than one warlock be a part of the squad or can only a farseer and a warlock join the squad?
Example:
10 Dire Avengers with:
Warlock: Destructor
Warlock: Embolden

I do not believe Warlocks can be taken as an upgrade to Aspect Warrior squads. Check the codex, you'll find them listed as an upgrade for; guardians, jetbikes, wraithguard, support weapons, and as a squad themselves with an attached farseer. For any squad they are attached to, only one may be present.

Belly is correct, Warlocks cannot upgrade Aspect squads. The closest you could hope for is to attach a Farseer but if you are looking for warlock powers then I'm sorry but its not possible. You can attach the Farseer as an IC but once you add warlocks to his retinue then he cant attach.

Thats a downer :/. So I can have a farseer and a warlock as part of a squad right? If a Warlock was part of a mele squad or Scorps/ Harlequins ( I assume the powers would be different) what powers would you assign the warlock?

Read this again... warlocks are not independent characters. You cannot let them join scorpions, harlequins etc. Their either a specific allowed unit character for guardians etc..(see above/codex) or may form a HQ unit with a farseer. thats it!

huh?
You can only attach them to guardian based squads, and wraithguard.
The best/only way to field multiple warlocks is in a seer council. Either on foot or mounted on jetbikes.
Give one warlock embolden, another enhance, and the rest destructor. Throw in a fortune/doom seer and let them goto work. Some other cheesy enhancements are available too.

I might be able to help clarify this for providence.....
In the codex there are two kinds of warlocks:
1: Squads of 3-10 Warlocks, one squad for every Farseer you take. Technically a HQ unit but not taking up a slot. The Farseer remains an IC and doesn't have to stay with them.
2: Warlocks as a 'Sargent' upgrade to a squad. Only Guardians, Wraithguard and Support Weapon Batteries have this option.
There is no Wolf Guard style rule for 'attaching' Warlocks to squads, and as mentioned before, they are not Independent Characters so cannot leave the squad they're bought for.

I am not saying that.. you were under the impression that a farseer with warlocks can join other units and I let you now it's not possible. Dunno about your 40k experience so if your a newbie its not a big deal.
