Wondering Why the Emperor Left

Hi,

I'm just wondering if it is possible for an Independent Character attached to a squad to use his Precision Shot rule if he is the one nominated to fire the gun?

In the rules it says one member of the squad can forgo his shooting attacks to fire the Quad Gun as long as the rest of the squad shoots at the same target. Would it then be feasible to have the Imdependent Character fire the Quad Gun, with his higher BS, and if so would the Precision Shot rule apply to these shots?

Thanks,

Never saw a rule denouncing precision shots for anything except snapfire, so i imagine its legal. Didnt think about that, i outta remember that for when i run my Tau allies to my Orks and my Commander Shas'el is firing a quad at BS5 lol

An ork with an idea tends to end with a bang.

Yesterday I played against GK with a Vindicare manning an Icarus on top of a bastion. Extra nasty, because all of his shots are always Precision, and you can't use Look Out Sir against his shots either.

You can also have Telion fire the Quad Gun, since he allocates all of his own wounds.

They actually FAQ'd it to say all of his shots are Precision Shots.

I use this to pick off heavy weapons quite frequently.
