Hello folks, trying to come up with a fun to play Deathwing Assault army. Not too concerned with tourney competitive, but I'd like a critique and/or feedback.

HQ:

Belial - 190

I'd like to run the DW assault. Not sure if I should keep the shooty FA options I have now or trade them out for some bikes to get that teleport homing action going or just take my chances with the scatter. Feedback on the troops is welcome as well, though I like having 5 squads available for DWA goodness. Thanks in advance!

A few things:


Whats the power field generator for? making sure your power fists only work 50% of the time? Take a conversion field or displacement field if you want ta better save.

Drop the speeder and Neph for bikes. They have TP homers and give you allot more.

Whats your plan for a hoard list?

I think horde lists are going to be a problem for any small elite army. I re-tooled the list a little to try and incorporate your advice and give at least a little anti-horde (heavy flamers)

Dropped the Neph and Speeder for 2 Bike Squads with the teleport homer. Also combined my DW squads to give me 3 DWA units, bringing the two big ones down with Belial and the Libby on turn 1 on the homers, leaving the knights in reserve. I bumped the Libby up to level 2 and gave him a displacement field and added a Heavy Flamer to each termie squad. I'm going to have trouble with hordes and flyers, but I'm not looking for tournament competitive, just something fun to play (and a load of termies is just plain fun).

O.o all those acronyms... The list looks solid though.
Only issue I see is lack of AA.

All I can do with flyers is try and kick people off objectives and squat on them, ignoring the flyers. The only units afraid of Heldrakes are the bikes, although Vendettas and Doomscythes can hurt me, not to mention AP2 pie plates from IG tanks. To find a way to deal with that stuff, though, would make an already small tight army list even smaller and tighter. Even if I get my butt handed to me, it will still be fun to plop all those termies down on the table.
