Ok here goes, I'm giving this a shot at a local tourney tomorrow.
CSM:
HQ: Sorcerer, ML3, force axe + power sword, 5++ 140pts
Troops: CSM squad, 10 marines, Plas + Missile, Champ w/ lightning claw 195pts
Troops: Cultists x 15, 1 flamer 70pts
Fast Attack: Heldrake w/ baleflamer 170pts
Fast Attack: Heldrake w/ baleflamer 170pts
Fast Attack: Spawn x5 w/ MoN 180pts
Heavy: Maulerfiend w/ Lasher Tendrils 135pts
Heavy: Forgefiend w/ hades 175pts
Fort: Aegis w/ Icarus 85pts
Allies: CD
HQ: Bloodthirster, 1 greater, 1 exalted 300pts
Troops: Bloodletters x 10, bloodreaper 105pts
Heavy: Skull Cannon 125pts
The first thing I know what's wrong with this list is light on scoring units. I'm hoping that the BT can throw down the portalglyph behind and Aegis and produce some scoring units here or there. Our local meta is pretty diverse, but nothing I would call OP or hyper competitive. I'm basically aiming for a turn 2 hurt-fest with at least 1 heldrake showing up plus the BT, forgefiend and spawn rolling up a flank or up the midde (opponent dependent). I know that two heldrakes plus spawn is not terribly creative but I've never tried this type of army before, I'm mostly a nurgle man. But a neat paint scheme prompted me to build a non-nurgle army. Constructive criticism welcome.
