Hi, new player and trying to work out how to make the list on the website, I want to do Ariadna, when I go to make the list can I pick all models/units from the category or do i need to do a specific force eg a highlander army or is there just a mixed Ariadna army.

Any help would be awesome.

When making an army for Ariadna, for now, you can either :

- Use any models from the Ariadna range
- Use only Highlanders models
- Use only FRRM models

Every units have an AVA (the amount of time you can field this model)
Using a sectorial (a specific branch of the faction, such as Highlanders or French) you get to use less different models but the AVA is generally increased.

I suggest getting Aleph by IA armybuilder, it allows you to build lists. It makes it a lot easier than trolling through 3-4 pdfs in order to build a list and check availability changes between vanilla ariadna and its sectorials.

I would also suggest that you get the models you like the look of and build a list from there. In Infinity there are no 'bad' choices and you can always add/change anything that doesnt work or to cover detrements in your list. That is that way I did it. although i now own almost every Ariadna model... but i have an addiction lol.

The two key things that you should keep in mind when building a list is:
1) try to get close to 8-9 'regular' models while staying in your points limit
2) make sure you have some long ranged weaponry (HMG, Sniper etc)
