I was just curious; why are building for GK specifically?

Because that's the only power list in the area...anything that can deal with them should be able to handle most other things.

You'll want shield of sanguinius to give your vehicles cover from the psyrifleman.

What's your main problem in the GK Army?
Is it the rifledreads?

I think 1-2 attackbikes is suitable for the Rifledreads.

Also, what LR's are you playing?

Dual LRs in general, should come quite handy against the rifledreads.

Why 5 man tacticals in the land raiders? If you make them 5 man assault squads without jump packs, you get the 35 point discount on the LR. And then you can give them a real plasmagun, instead of a combi-plas. You could use the extra points for MM for the land raiders.

And I agree about using Shield on your libby. You're looking at a 6" bubble around a LR of 5+ cover, which is enough for both LR and vindicators to be covered.

I agree with the fellows above, Shield everytime, saved on many battles my day!!

Be warned that shield of sanguinius does nothing against helldrakes once you are out of the vehicles.

Fear the Darkness or Shackle Soul then?

Quad gun should handle the Helldrake.

I'd say fear the darkness and shackle soul are about equally useful.

To save the marines outside the box from the Helldrake, a Priest would be handy, FNP rules!

I completely agree with the priest but the list is too elite to move that many points around.

Not even slightly worried about Helldrakes...my meta hasn't bought in to GWs merchandising tactics or lack thereof. we all plan on eventually getting whatever fliers suit us after the smoke has settled, new codecies come out and the ridiculous has toned down.
