Has anyone ever used the Chapterhouse Hotshot Lasgun Packs? I'm making Chaos Renegades and it would be nice to use these to make my stormtroopers. I haven't been able to find any pictures of them except the one on their website. If anyone has used them I'd like to know what you thought of them.

Yes, that's the only picture that I can find. Well that and the unpainted version. But I'd like to see it on a model, or the back of the pack. Or if anyone has had any experience working with it. If its really rigid metal then the cable that connects to the pack would be a huge problem. I don't really want to waste money on them if they're not worth it.

Any white metal will easily be bendable. In fact, you'll be more concerned about bending carefully and not breaking than not being able to bend it. They wouldn't have designed it that way if you couldn't bend the material used.

That's what I've thought. I've used metal bits before, such as Victoria Miniatures, but never had to bend such a big piece around and up. I'm sure they designed it that way, and I've heard good things about Chapterhouse, but not much on that piece.

I ordered some so I'll post pictures when I get them.

I haven't cleaned them up or anything, but I'm not very impressed. They look okay, but the backpack is completely flat on the back and not very natural. They're okay for the price but I think I'm going to go in a different direction for my stormtroopers. I think I'm going to use the Anvil Industries Firestorm Carbine instead. http://www.anvilindustry.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=108_109&product_id=268 They're a much better price and their quality is amazing. Also they have scopes, reflex sights and night vision sights added.
