The whole "lock up baby formula" falsehood in that article makes it clear its a political piece anyway.

Doesn't change what Bloomberg said or take back any of the things he's done. Given all the real problems New York is facing, you'd think he'd spend at least a little energy on those.

What's the problem? He's right. The government not only infringes upon the personal liberty of its citizens as a matter of course, but it also infringes upon your constitutional rights. It's called pragmatism. It's RAI, not RAW. Sometimes the government really DOES know best.

That is, of course, unless you honestly believe that mentally unstable people should be allowed to purchase firearms or that it should be permissible for people to shout the word 'fire' in a crowded public place, such as a cinema.
