Hi,
I am trying to play 40k with Ollie. It's his turn and he's using my Imperial Guard.
It's his movement phase and he knocked one of his models off the board and he's just knocking it around the room and stuff. He did this for about 10-15 minutes and then got bored and started chewing a hairband.
How can I explain to him that's not how the movement phase works?

As a MC (Monstrous Cat) he might feel more at home playing Tyranids or Chaos Daemons and learn quicker.

Haha. I would suggest using your measuring tape to demonstrate, my cat pays more attention to that.
Though I think you would get better help if this was under general or something.

Tried teaching my dog to play once... I gave him a squad of genestealers and when I was missing one it turned out it was a worshipper of nurgle... His base went full decay but I managed to have him repent...
Love the cat "licktor"!

Well played sir, well played.
Ollie and my cat (ironically named Dakka) should play a game. They both handle the movement phase exactly alike. Also add in paintpots and brushes.
