I have been making my own chapter and I have had issues with the colour scheme. At the moment i have settled for red with white but I like the look of the sons of horus colour scheme. My chapter can trace their origins to about half way through the great crusade. The was up and running after the heresy concluded and has no ties to the imperium or chaos and viewed the loyal sons of horus as the best a space marine can be. Anyway is it ok if I was there colour scheme but use a different symbol.

Unfortunately i'm on a different computer so i cannot show you my original colour scheme but i can describe it. The helmet, chest, arms, legs and half the power pack are red and the shoulders, elbows, kness, feet and the other half of the power pack while the trim is gold.

It's just a colour. There's plenty of white Marine chapters now after the World Eaters went crazy(er).

The only fluff issue would be reusing the emblem, which would be a massive no-no.

my Skull Hornets are white with green details and a dark brown helmet. looks odd i can tell you. but it works for me
