Being a public servant never felt so good. Well, except maybe that Sheriff of some tiny town in California that was making $800k a year. Still, in a county with deficits who wouldn't want to take in almost ten times more in a month retired than the per capita annual income is in your county. It's good to be king, or queen, in this case. Or County Administrator. Whatever. I'm sure our retired servicemen and women get something close to this for their time in.
