Subject: 1000pts - Ultramarines VS Eldar VS Necrons
The D3+1 team decided to record another battle report and this time tested out some in-progress 1v1v1 match rules. It should be pointed out this was largely for fun and weren't looking to be super strict regarding the rules since we were testing them anyway, but we are open to hearing options on how to keep things nice and balanced.
Because things got a bit hectic there's no write up of this one, just a video:
The rules we used are mentioned in the video, but if you want to see the full write up of them then check out the blog post here:
A really enjoyable watch, thanks for posting. Weren't the Necron warriors holding their objective at the end? I'm not sure if that's why they got the one point in the end or did they kill a transport as per your score update.
Anyway, no matter.
Cheers

This was a fun battle report to watch! Ive always wanted to try and get a 3-way battle to work, and now I think I may give it a go with your set-up. Thanks!
I lied that you mentioned your small rules errors in the credits, I know im still prone to a lot as im only 8 months into the hobby. Its helpful to point these out as it helps the people watching who might not have caught that stuff too.
One questions: Should that Ghost Ark have received a cover save in Turn 3 or 4 when the remaining Fire Dragon shot at him? I thought that vehicles only benefit from cover if they are 25% obscured from the POV of the firing model, which it didnt look like the Ark was?
A very good report

When he said cover I think he was just meaning the jink save but not 100% sure. We actually played that match just over two weeks ago we couldn't edit it together until now since the camera was needed for a wedding. Since then we've also played using the rules again so it's a bit hard to remember.

Thanks for the kind words! I believe we meant Jink save for the Ghost Ark (since it's technically a cover save) but we might have screwed up - as Flik said, this was recorded a few weeks back and it's hard to remember!
There is another report using the same ruleset that we recorded recently due to get uploaded soon!

There was not really much "cover" to hide in my little corner! The list wasn't really built for a 3 way match (I made one a bit more survivable for the next one!)
