just a quick one, can you help settle an argument for me. If some has 2 full scoring units holding a objective can a lone ork nob get to within 3 of that objective and denial it??

Yes, of course it can, there's no limit on number or size of units when it comes to contesting objectives, the only requirement is that it's a denial unit.

Page 123, very first line, in bold. Specifically - "and no models from enemy denial units". PrinceRaven has it - if there's even one denial model in range, it's contested full stop.
