Danger: Malware Ahead!
Google Chrome has blocked access to this page on www.dakkadakka.com.
Content from kan.org, a known malware distributor, has been inserted into this web page. Visiting this page now is very likely to infect your computer with malware.
Malware is malicious software that causes things like identity theft, financial loss, and permanent file deletion.
I thought I knew which thread was triggering it but now I can't throw it again, and kan.org loads fine without a warning.
At least it's an FYI? I'll update if I see it again.

Chrome has be throwing up malware alerts on random pages for me so it might just be a browser issue...

Thanks - FWIW that doesn't exist on the "Print Friendly" (aka high contrast) theme.
Ads didn't throw it and I can't replicate it. I'll pay more attention if it happens again.

It's got to be an infected ad stored in your cache. Did you run a scan? Also, what AV application?

Chrome doesn't throw that error on cached data afaik...
And to be perfectly honest I don't have a virus scanner on my RHEL machine.

He mentions it being a thread; he just can't remember which seem to replicate the error. Have you tried searching your browsing history to see if any threads stored there spark your memory another alert? EDIT: Derped and thought he'd forgotten.

It was a thread. Ill go back through my history and try to replicate again tomorrow.
And I'm not sure it'd be signatures - I use the "print friendly" theme that doesn't display them.
