Looking to find some flamers for my Grey Hunters. Just for giggles I thought I'd look around and see what alternatives I could find to the standard SM flamers (which I'm not opposed to). IG flamers are nice, FW ones are kind of weird. Other than that, I haven't found much luck other than the odd flamer sold in a mix of other weapons. Any ideas?

I did come across those earlier. They're probably the best non-GW I've seen. They're a possibility for sure. I dig the shield, I wish they'd have a picture of it with the foregrip attachment.

Yeah I agree.

You could always take a look at the hand-flamers/inferno pistols the BA have as alternates (duel wielding flame pistols counts as flamers )?

I saw those on Bitz Barn. Aren't they DC or something like that? They'd definitely stand out that's for sure.

Yep DC - I see them around bitz sites all the time and I've always thought duel flame pistols would be badass!

If you are after a more high tech look you could always try some TAU bitz...apart from that I dont know of much more!

Good luck,

Hmm. I wouldn't have thought of that!

Tau flamers look pretty cool. Similar enough to not be out of place, and require little conversion, but still different.

have you thought of scratchbuilt or modded pieces?

This isnt a link to directly converted flamers, but they create combi-weapons, might give you some ideas as to what you could do to create flamers that look different.

Oh and as a side note, I definitely think dual flame pistols would be mega bad ass!

I haven't really, just simply because I don't have a particular look in mind. Just wanted to see what was out there.

I do like the bolter/flamer conversion he's done on there, that's pretty interesting. At the very least that'd be good for my Wolf Lord.
