First of all I would like to say Hello to everyone as this is my first thread.
Okay. I'm going to face my friend playing IG. I know that 1300 pt is kinda weird but hey, who cares? He'll field something like this:
Lord commisar
x3 veterans in chimeras with plasmaguns
x2 vendetta
leman russ battle tank
Manticore

While i'm going to field my Nurgle Iron Warrios
Lord in TDA with chainfist lighting claw Mon and blight granades 157
X5 chaos terminators with x2 LC x2 Combi-melta and reaper autocannon 198
Nurgle Daemon Prince with mastery lvl 2 powerarmour and wings. 270
x2 7 Plague marines champion with powerweapon and meltabombs in rhino 2*223
Defiler 195.
Total: 1266 points.
Okay I know that this isn't best list. Also i can't field Heldrake because I don't have model and i've got no idea how to proxx it.
I have 34 spare points which i can give to plague marines/marks for termies.
I can drop Defiler and throw in some predators maybe.
Opinions?

Hello there. Maybe some havocs with flakk to counter enemy Vendettas? Or Aegis with Quadgun?
Just my 5 cents.

I've been thinking about it but flakks cost 25pts and i think that 4 S7 attacks won't pierce vendetta. But what about lasscannons? 4 shots, cheaper no skyfire but stronger and actually i can target russ if need. Btw Is Icarus good or just screw it and use quad all the time?

Well, Icarus is just 1 shot per turn, so Quadgun is better.

I think you are right to drop the defiler, preferably in favour of a lascannon predator to give you a better chance of cleanly blowing up one of his support tanks each turn. That probably brings your spare points up to 100. Which could be spent on some autocannon havocs to get the chimeras or a dakka-pred or maybe a small raptor unit to deepstrike (or bounce across) and take flamer shots at veterans, who hopefully have been shot out of their tanks, or crack the rear armour of the battle tanks.

The plague marine could do with some assault weapons; either plama to pop the tchimeras and to snapfire at the vendettas if they come into close range; or melta if you want to go after his main tanks.

If i would take Predator anhilator and plasma guns there is still 29 points left, or i could leave plasmas to get second predator or drop preds and get Havocs with AC in aegis with quad with 14 spare points. Or screw anti air and get x2 vindicator with siege shield and demonic possession

I'd say put a melta or 2 on each squad of plague marines for armour busting and instakilling goodness

There is nothing to instakill within IG. Plasma can instakill anyway. And there would be 1 or 2 tri-las predators to bust some tanks.

It is twin linked and if you put a anything with a BS 5 then It will be hitting on 2s. How good will it feel to intercept that flyer and destroy it on arrival because it gets +1 on the damage table for Ap2 which it will roll on since it will easily penetrate with S9. It is also 15points cheaper than Quad gun. I personally use the Icarus lascannon on land raiders and any thing else I want to pop. It is nearly a sure thing.

You already have auto cannons on your termi, and defiler. Drakes, Fiends, Havocs, can provide all the autocannons you would need.

I would personally run your defiler until you think it is obsolete. However, 2 predators with las cannon sponsons is a bit more than 1 defiler.

edit: rethinking the opponent made me realize that only the LRBT and Vendetta are the only high AV you need to worry about, but how confident are you rolling penetrate with 8 auto cannon shots when you need 5 or 6?

If you can, lose the defiler for ADL + Quad and 6 Havocs with 4 Autocannons... It puts you right at 1300 points... Your friend doesn't play a hoard so this should work a lot better...
1st Turn 12 S7 shots into a chimera should leave it a smoking wreck. Turn 2 average of 5 S7 hits runs a good chance of dropping a vendetta. Deep striking in your termies should frag the LRBT or Manticore.

Watch out with termie's if he knows your army he will play with plasma vets
