Hey guys. Recently read through the Iron Warriors Omnibus again, and I think the taint of Chaos stuck with me. I loved the way McNeill spins horror elements into his descriptions of the incomprehensibilities of the Warp. Thus I come to you asking for further suggestions towards delves into Chaos of similar quality.

Ahriman: Exile is a good read, and lots of people rant and rave about how great the Night Lords trilogy is.

I'd expect nothing less from ADB. Any other suggestions? One would think that the Ultramarines Omnibus, being ajacent to the Iron Warriors equivalent, would have similar content.

I liked the Ultramarine Omnibuses and I am a chaos lover. Try some of the older chaos books.

Henry Zhou isn't a name I've heard before. If you could describe his writing style, how would you?

I agree with this. Abnett's Inquisition books (Eisenhorn/Ravenor series) are also very good, and you could call them Chaos-focussed, albeit from the other side's perspective.

I've also read some of the Word Bearers and Iron Warriors books, but didn't like them as much.

What I like about this book, is that it focus on a single chaos marine. The story is pretty simple, and you follow a man on a quest basically.
It changes from the full scale war you can find in other books.

Yeah, I would say the book is a pretty decent read. He has a few other books that include Blood Gorgons too, and they're all decent in my opinion. Something about Iron or something. I forgot, heh.

Night Lords is a great read and really enjoyed Word Bearers trilogy - also try Lord of the Night which is almost a prequal to the Night Lords novels
