Lots and lots of orks. Thats pretty much it. With pk's for 'ard stuff and lootas to knock out transports and the like. You may be tempted to go with tankbustas for IDing ap3... but dont. They're not worth it, particularly with the glory hogs rule. The only thing you should really consider for ranged ap3 is kannons, they're pretty nice and group up nicely with lootas behind an ADL.
Or if you cant be bothered moving swathes of guys around and want to take a speed army; I'd still stick with the lootas, kannons if you're up for it then grab a couple of battlewagons and trukks. A very strong choice is always going to be nob bikers. Nothing short of a lucky vindicator shot will deal to them quickly and they can fulfil many roles.
I dont know what points size you're looking for, but at around a 1000pts you could probably grab 10 lootas, 2x20 boys in a battlewagon with deffrolla, a biker boss and maybe 3 biker nobs (they're quite pricey).
Between shootas of sluggas, I go like this. If they're on foot - shootas. If they're in a battlewagon - shootas (normally). If they're in a trukk - sluggas. With shooting being a bit better in 6th, shootas are a lot better when on foot, battlewagons are nice mobile fire bases and trukks are fast enough to not worry about loosing out on the shooting. Shoota boys are still reasonable in melee anyway.
Bikers bosses are normally around 150pts with bike, pk, attack squig and cybork body. Nob bikers can cost heaps, you always want a painboy and cybork bodies on them, but in a squad you dont really need more than 2 pks regardless of size. Just give the rest big choppas otherwise their price skyrockets for minimal change, they start to overkill.
Battlewagons are very good with the deffrolla. All the extras are kinda unneeded like most vehicles, chucking on four more big shootas or rokkits is okay but costs abit, and one guy inside has to fire it...
Despite saying way more about a speed army, I'm pre-dominantly a horde player. I just like the simplicity of crunching the world under your boots. However I would have to say that the speed lists with nob bikers are definitely more competitive. Nothing to stop you mixing them up though...
