I allready own 3ish warmahordes armies but I'm thinking of building up the 2 player bb to 25 points with some options for no good reason.

The plan is to start by adding the warpborn alpha and warspear chieftain for a balanced 23 points. To get to 25 point lists I think I'll add the blackclad wayfarer and strider deathstalker. After that I'm thinking about getting a gorax to swap for the argus and Raek to swap for 2 shredders, and finally a war wolf and shepherd for 1 point fillers.

My thinking is the oficers are decent buffs to their units and an easy way to balance the armies. The 4 solos seem like good tools regardless of caster. The gorax is because I know it is considered a solid choice in circle unlike the argus, and the Raek because it's cool looking and 4 shredders seems excessive.

Is my thinking flawed? Are there better choices? If so please let me know.

Looking at war wolf, I think it is a limited choice. Without Reeves, to only think it gets is Gang from following close to skinwalkers. With two point to play with there are a couple of other solos to consider. Gallows Grove to deny Tough, Blackclad, Reeve Hunter.

Another option would be to drop the Winter Argus for the gorax and have 3pts to play with, You can then entertain Shifting stones + UA, which seems to be standard for Circle.

For Legion, succubus would give you a free upkeep spell plus extra use of an animus for 2pts. The forsaken might be wortha look as well.

I got the hordes box on the cheap over Christmas. added a heavy warbeast kit to each side. With magnets this allows me to field any 2 of the 3 warbeasts.

Planning on getting the UAs for each unit. For circle the Gorax looks cool and so do the shifting stones. Planning on adding some druids and the wolf rider girls to provide me some variety and options.
