This is probably the hardest ork model I have painted yet. But, IMHO, the time it took was way worth, I like the result. Tell me what I could do (or not do) to get a better model for the future. Just looking for some advice to increase my little painting knowledge. Any advice on photography is also great, because my knowledge of photography is no more than an ork has of a pulse carbine. The red works well imo, makes a change from Goff colours! Only think I will say is that it looks like it could use a wash or two to shade it.

Also, the top of his head is metal, hence the spikes and bionic eye. You may want to paint it a different color?

You could maybe try to highlight the face a little, make it look more natural. Also if you want you should probably paint the top of his head metal to go with the intent of the model (just the forehead area above the eyes with the spikes and such). Besides that, good work. For the rest, your orky metal technique seems to work very well.

I like the whole head painted green. It makes it look like the implants are sub dermal.
