Not only is it ok... it's quite recommended at 1750 plus depending on the build. They are grrrreat!

If Necrons is the Allied detachment, you only get 1 HQ. If Primary, you get 2.

In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

You can run four with a double FOC. Attach them all to a squad of six Canoptek Waiths with whip coils. After the first two Wraiths die the majority toughness is T6.

I love running 2 squads of 6 whip coil wraiths with destroyer lords attached to each squad. It decimates the enemy in a lot of the games I have played they just aren't ready for Necron to assault(at least in my experience the first time I play someone).
