A little build I've been playing around with idea of for awhile. Basically, designed to cap objectives and not die. Something like this:
[HQ]
175 Trazyn
RC
105 Lord w/MSS/SW/RO/WS (with Trazyn/LG)
65 Lord w/RO (Warrior brick)
65 Lord w/RO (Warrior brick)
[ELITE]
450 Sword and Board LG X 10
100 NightScythe
[TROOPS]
260 Warriors X 20
260 Warriors X 20
115 Ghost Ark
50 ADL
1645 TOTAL
With the remaining 205 points I've been debating a bit. I like the idea of a Gloom Prism Spyder or two to keep disastrous Psychic Powers off the Warrior bricks, as well as acting as an assault deterent. I've also thought about throwing a Lancetek squad on the GA to give it something to carry around in protect. Of course a couple of Anni Barges could also make a showing.
Basic idea should be pretty straight forward. Cap 3 objectives, one of which in the opponenents deployment zone with Trazyn's squad, effectively giving you 9 points for the objectives, a point for linebreaker, and not give up slay the Warlord. That alone would be a pretty standard format to win most standard objectives. Each unit is extremely hard to dislodge, for obvious reasons.
It's pretty short on offensive capabilities of course, relying on a bunch of Gauss Flayers and the punching capabilities of Trazyn's unit to do most of its damage. On the flip side, it doesn't go down easily either.
Thoughts? Ways to up the offensive punch without detracting from the "we just camp your objectives and don't die" motif?
