An artificial grass mat 1m x 2m in size is on sale at Lidl (UK supermarket) for only £6.99

Looks suitable for use as a gaming mat (shame it's not a full 6x4 ft), especially if you cut it up to 'grass' modular board sections

these offers usually hang around for a week, so I'm guessing it will be gone by next Thursday (4th April)

This picture is deceptive. Think greengrocers fake grass.

Not suitable as a mat, could be cut up for terrain though.
