I've been painting up my GKs, and finally got to the purifiers. Here's what I've got so far on my test model. I normally don't post WIPs, but I would love some feedback on the fire (or anything else for that matter.)

Any feedback? Particularly on the fire? I've never modeled of painted anything like it before so feedback would be appreciated so I know if I'm heading in the right direction.

Hmm... Could we maybe get a close up on the fire? It looks alright, but you may want to grab some more vibrant colors and highlight it some more, getting some almost brownish colors on the tips. I'm just rambling, I can't paint fire to save my life, just looking at Vulkan Hestan for a reference.
I really like the fire but I think the paint scheme should be carried onto the blade. It looks odd with the top of the blade on fire and the rest is still metal colored.
