I'm still very early in the planning stages for a list, so I didn't want to put it there. Rather I wanted to see if anyone thinks this tactic would be viable and/or have any holes I'm not thinking of.
It's only for 2000+ points because of the insane HQ cost, but here's my idea: A DA/BA list where the primary strategic focus is dropping an overwhelming number of shock troops on my opponent's side early. To do this it's centered around one idea, which is getting a darkshroud across the board as quickly as possible then dropping Belial and a 10 man deathwing squad AND Dante with a 5 man, kitted SG squad into the darkshroud's aura.
The plan would be to drop them outside of viable assault range on turn two and open up with shooting. 2x Assault cannons on the deathwind, 5x angelus bolters on the SG. Essentially it would give me a drop with no scatter, giving 16 SB shots, 8 AC shots (all twin linked) followed by 10 angelus bolter shots in the shooting phase. Take out as many with the blood angels, then split fire as needed to clean up a unit. The weakness is clear -- it's bolter heavy. However with some fire support and cover saves I think they'll make it into assault, and from there it will be fairly self explanatory.

Interesting idea. Instead of SG maybe drop an honour guard with Dante, this gives you some options in specialising fire as the honour guard can take specialvweapons this drop with plasma/melta would be nice. Making the drop much scarier.
What else would be in this list and which is the primary force?

Interesting idea. What else is in the list? I would advise maybe giving some of the DW TH/ SS for survivability, and maybe think about CML on 2 of them for some anti-tank/anti- meq/anti-horde

For the rest of the list I was thinking about some devastators, and foot-slogging deathwing with cyclone missile launchers for long-range support.
Thinking about rounding out the force with as many cheap scouts as possible with to cap objectives and probably kit them with sniper rifles.

What is to stop the enemy from then shotting at the darkshroud? A 3+ cover is nice, but any S6-7-8 non AP2 shots are going to be quite effective against the darkshroud and not the terminators. Also, what about things like demolisher cannons? 24" range is normally a problem, but when you come to them..... At ~1200 points for that set of units, you provide nearly nothing until turn 3. Even on turn 3 you may not get a good assault on a good unit between bubble wrapping, enemy movement, and the distance you are deepstriking away to get in the darkshroud aura.
Also, terminators die to quantity of fire just as much as quality. BA w Sang priest is really the only way to counter quantity of fire wounds on terminators. When you DS near the enemy line, they could very easily get rapid fire and kill half your terminators with quantity of fire.
Better plan: scrap the accurate deepstriking. What does it matter anyways? The darkshroud can move to cover the units it needs after the deepstrike occours and it saves you >400 points in HQ You can grab another 10 terminators for that. Unless you are trying to DS the SG 3" away from a vehicle with infernus pistols its not worth it to be accurate deepstriking.

Excellent idea about moving with the darkshroud vs. deep striking in.
What can I say? I love DS.

I'm at work so sans codex, but does the Darkshroud give "friendly units" or "friendly units from codex: da"? I think I remember things like that being very specific, but I haven't looked at the Shroud in months (no FA slots in my tourney list free)
