I wasn't going to post a question but then found that the search wasn't working so I'm hoping someone can help here. Basically I'm adding some stowage to my FW russ' and came across these on ebay, but I'm not 100% sure on the scale as some people have said use 1/35th others 1/48th.

If it helps it's more for the back of the turret than anywhere else.

Thanks.

GW's heroic scale is probably close to 1/50 - 1/56th so you might get away with 1/48. You won't really know until you see the stowage next to your model.

Scale reference on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_scale_model_sizes

Sandbags, some crates, tow chains, and baggage tends to be more forgiving than tools, wheels, and ammo.

The secret to painting a really big army is to keep at it. You can't reach your destination if you never take any steps.

I've used both 1/48 and 1/35. 1/48 looks good for most everything, though tools and weapons look rather thin. 1/35 looks good for most things, but the packs are rather large.

The stowage on the tanks in this gallery are almost all 1:48 scale.

I might have gone with 1:48, but I had them leftover from a 1/35 tank I had kitbashed.
