As a Blade Runner fan, this is really interesting to me.

The authors are of course not claiming it, but this appears to gang warfare in a "not-Blade-Runner" setting. It' uses the "Goalsystem" rules engine which is the basis for such excellent games as Supersystem, Goalsystem Delves, Blasters and Bulkheads and Chaos in Carpathia. Here's a blurb from the kickstarter.

Ghosts of Hefei (GoF) features a competitive tabletop miniatures game experience where rival gangs battle to steal robot workers in a dystopic, near-future Earth. A direct sequel to Four-Color Figures' recent game, The Department, GoF focuses its lens on the action and drama transpiring on the mean streets of 2070s Hefei, China.

Players take command of a gang with the purpose of stealing fabricants (fabricated human simulants) to sell on the black market. These gangs act as agents for the major global organized crime syndicates. Players use a combination of hacking, guile, and combat to compete for money and influence in the lucrative and dangerous international fabricant trade.

It's a hard life in Hefei. Steal a fabricant. Get in a firefight. Try not to get caught by the police.

A spiritual successor to great sci-fi skirmish games of the past, Ghosts of Hefei delivers a competitive tabletop experience distinct from, but fully compatible with, The Department.

I bought "The Department", but it was more RPG'ish in feel and not my thing. Gang warfare is more what I like to play so I've bought into the Ghosts KS for the rules as I've already got tons of useable figs. I've also played and enjoyed "Blasters and Bulkheads" but that's more of a "not-Star-Wars" Space Opera game.

This looks really cool. I'd like to see a few more figs before I cave in on my KS fast.

These woulde look good along side the Judge Dredd gangers.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

I decided to back this one. I like the look of the hackers and I really enjoyed the movie 'Surrogates'.

Looks interesting, but I'd be worried about competition from Catalyst's upcoming Shadowrun: Sprawl Gangers, which seems to be rather similar in scope and feel.
