So, I have been a huge fluff nerd and video gamer for Warhammer
40k and other games floating around of the fantasy and sci-fi persuasion, but I think this spring and summer is finally when I'm going to consummate this unhealthy obsession with inch tall miniature soldiers.
I have a slight interest in Warmachine and Hordes, but the lack of fluffy stuff to devour makes it unappealing. If you have something for me, go ahead and shoot me a message or reply here, I don't bite
I have a better understanding of and care more about Warhammer Fantasy and even though it's said to be more balanced, it's not where i'm starting
40k is where I feel at home. Even though I'm not a loyal servant of the Imperium, I can tell a massively long story about its triumphs and failures over the millenia as well as the background of any xenos race that was lucky enough to be included in recent changes. So
40k is where I'll be starting. I'll be picking up Dark Vengeance, mostly for the beautiful Chaos models and the rule book (which is normally paying 70 bucks for a bunch of history I already know) and trying out some painting and gluing and basing and playing with whichever one of my friends wants to pick up the Angels forces and do battle with me.
After that I'd like to move to a xenos force. Still haven't decided which. Tau, Orks, Eldar, Deldar, Nids. I love them all
almost equally. If you have any suggestion on which army I should play, I'd appreciate your insight, as long as you have a reason why
So that's my wargaming, that's me. If you're in the South Florida or Central Oklahoma/Texas area, hit me up. We can play a few games.
