I got this idea from a terrain site I found where they made a Menoth Chapel from a birdhouse as a starting point. Cool idea, but I couldn't find a good birdhouse so I decided to make the entire thing from scratch.

Made a basic shape from styrofoam and then covered it with wood. The cutout at the top is for the steeple.

Added the steeple, part of the roof, and roughed out the entrance.

Decided to make it taller by adding a foundation to the bottom and added more to the roof.

Added stone texture (made from air dry clay) to the foundation and siding to the walls and windows. Note the stained glass window isn't highlighted at all so it is not affixed to the building yet. Also added a large Menofix to the steeple.

Close up of the side with the window, siding, and stucco.

Entrance and door (thanks to all in my other thread for the advice to just make my own!) complete along with foundation, siding, and window frames. Added shingles to steeple, entrance, and 1/4 of the roof.

This is a very rough color test on some scrap pieces. I want the chapel to somewhat match the colors of my Menoth army (White, Blue/Gray, and a Rusty Gold). I am leaning towards the shingle color on the left and the more brown trim color for the siding. I'll probably highlight the shingles a bit using the middle color.

Finished the roof, most of the siding, and cleaned it up a bit. Need to finish the entrance and add some details then its on to painting the windows and the building itself!
