Hey everyone.

I picked up the core set for the X wing minature game, and man is it good fun. Super easy to pick up too.

But my problem is a lack of stock in the area, and not wanting to buy tons of core games just to get models.

So an hours work, some plasticard and a little patience and I have an additional X wing, Tie fighter and base. I plan on making a few more - as in the core set you get enough cards to field 8 different Tie pilots and 4 X wing pilots - just not the models.

I'm not advocating, nor planning on, playing the game like this forever by the way. The miniatures are mega and I want a ton of them - but I'm gonna wait untill the individual X-wing and Tie fighter models are available, so I can get the upgrade cards.

So there you have it - 3 bits of plasticard per model.

I am currently taking commissions.

They are certainly functional proxies doing exactly as intended... Easily recognizable stand ins until you have the real thing.

You say that I am crazy. I say that you are right!
