My (nick)name is Aarsigheid and i'm from holland (groningen).
I'm a new Warhammer 40K player and started my army of Orks, this wasn't a tactical desision but i like the way they look and the randomness of their capabilities, for example: SAG, weirdboys, "don't press that" and even old zogwort.
I've searched the internet for ork tactics weather to smash my enemy with a gakload of sluggas or with a gakload of choppa's, turns out the answer was both. A lot of good tips and tricks came from this forum, that's why i signed up.
most of the battles i'll play will be against the space wolfs 13th company army of my roommate, ultra marines/ blood angels from a friend or necrons.

You should never choose orks for 'tactical' reasons, so you did the right thing!
