Ok this idea recently popped into my head with the GoTN it says i can target any friendly or enemy unit within a certain radius and los of the bearer and that the unit must contain one model with the daemon special rule. Now provided i just need to name a unit with the daemon special rule, is it crazy enough to work on a csm Heldrake or any of the other daemon engines to give them the invul save buff as well as they are battle brothers. Having a heldrake with a 3+ invul ssounds ver nasty to me.

Yes it works, but giving 3+ invul to a flyer is good but it is already a hard to hit model, I think it would work better on possessed with MoT, that makes them models with 2+ invul

This does indeed work. Daemon Princes, Warp Talons, Obliterators, Mutilators and (as mentioned) Possessed can all benefit from this as well.
