Hey man to answer your question about the nobz... Yes and no. I miss my nobz a great deal, however seeing what I can bring if I don't take them helps. I look at the rule a nob fills and I try to find something else that can fill it. I think overall nobz should be placed in slugga squads but not shoota squads... I play very defensive with my shootas so it's not necessary.

As far as adepticon goes... Not this year unfortunately... Next year though

IMO, your list could use a Warboss on a Warbike with Attack Squig, Power Klaw, and Cybork Armour. Relying heavily on Big Kannons, Dakkajets, and Lootas for high strength weapons doesn't cut it. I agree Nobz upgrade per Boyz squad isn't mandatory, but at least field a Warboss. St10 Power Klaw has no difficulty against any armour value.

One of the benefits of horde armies that you didn't capitalize on is controlling where your opponent's deep strike units land. In this game, it seemed like the Space Wolves player did an excellent job using divide and conquer strategy with multiple threats occurring in different parts of your deployment.

Sorry to hear you lost. It was a good battle report, thanks for sharing!

I agree with you. My list was lacking some serious punch... A biker boss would have made a huge difference.

We tied 9 to 9 . I didn't lose

That's for watching man!

I think your last turn you should have turbo boosted your dakka jet over to get linebreaker. With the added cover from the turbo on your jink save you should have been fine. Not to mention walking away with a win.

None the less great BatRep!

Yeah, I actually played vs full drop Wolves yesterday with my Tau/Ork combo, having the mass infantry bodies allows you to dictate where Drop Pods land and then retaliate very well. I also agree that a Biker Warboss is good to have (though mine has less fixin's than yours), I love the mobility to harass opponent's backfield, hunt MCs or tanks. Reminds me of a more formidable and faster Lone Wolf.

I haven't seen a drop pod army since... forever!!!! And the Green Tide looked amazing as well (I really liked how every squad had a name/clan)!

Initially I thought that the Space Wolves will have this game finished by Turn 3 but the Orks held their ground and brought the pain to the marines! Seeing all of those pods land in a sea of orks was really something else!

I have really poor understanding of the Ork codex, but it was sad to see all of those immobile kill points just sit there not even loosing their paint! Without altering your list, was it possible to devote any additional shooting/assault into the drop pods?

Thank you for the fun battle report and congratulations on your last Dakka Jet weathering the storm!

First off, thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback. A lot of hard work went into, and is still going into my Orks, so it's nice seeing someone appreciate seeing them.

Onto the game... Is funny because typically I could deal with the pods no problem, but I was trying something new and not running nobz in my squads... Big mistake lol. I could have thrown a little more fire from my lootas and dakka jets into them, but I really want to get his marines out of my deployment zone... Could it have been played better by me? Yes, but was it still an awesomely fun game... Of course .
