I haven't played since back in 5th edition and I'm looking to start putting an army back together. I'm planning to use the models I already have with the Forgefiends being kit bashed out of existing parts.
Here's an approximate list of the models I have to work with.
80 Chaos Space Marines
13 Raptors
13 Termies/Oblits
2 Daemon Lords
1 Dreadnought
3 Defilers
3 Rhinos
1 Landraider
I have the parts to kit bash pretty much any Cult troop/Chosen/Possessed models that I need so feel free to suggest changes that use that models I currently have.

Would MoN Daemon prince's slow and purposeful cause a problem?
Give your cultists MoN so they become zombies since you are using Typhus.
What guns are you putting on your forge fiends? Id recommend hades autocannons to try and shoot flyers at the momment.

S&P doesn't change movement anymore and I'm not overly worried about the drawbacks because a DP doesn't really need to run or make sweeping attacks more than he needs a 5+ cover save and 3+ jink save.
Cultists to Plague Zombies has been noted in my list. No reason not to get Fearless and FnP on your back line objective holders.
Yeah, I was going with the autocannons, as I would have an even worse time against flyers without them.
My new question is should I keep the Rhinos or should I drop them and use the points to beef up the zombies a bit more? I know vehicles are a bit easier to plink down in this edition, but I feel they add a nice bit of mobility to my Plague Marines and they can serve as cover around an objective as needed.

Despite giving first blood, I stick to my rhinos so I can move my troops 18" every turn untill they reach the objective. I would not bother beefing up cultist, if I wanted to then i would give up 1 terminator which cost as much as a rhino.
Think about it, rhino vs termi. Rhino can bring your troops to where you need them, protect them from baleflamer, block line of sight, tank shock troops off an objective. Another terminator is just 1 more wound and attack.

That's pretty much my thought on Rhinos at this point. They can give up first blood pretty easy, but they can also do a few nice things. The extra points from cutting out the Rhinos and a melta bomb could get my DP to Mastery 3, but that's just adding more eggs into the same basket.
