Hi I'm just asking about a little problem me and my friend ran into. The question is do you take the cover save (let's say a 5+) and your amour save of a 3+. Realistically it makes sense the bullet hits the cover then you.
Thank you for any replies.
Thanks

Outer Space, Apparently

only one save can be made per wound. its safe to assume that the shot can pass through the cover but pings off your armour.

(with an exception to FNP saves!)

You take whichever is higher, but never both together.

I think this would belong in YMDC. Anyway, you always take the best save available to you.

If you are hit by an attack with an AP higher than 3, then you would only take your armor save. If an attack would ignore your armor, then you would only take the cover save.

Outside of special units/powers, you always take just 1 save.

Many thanks.

You choose the best save you have available. And only one save can be made (Except FnP, which is taken in addition to any other save).
