My first bolt action force is on its way, and I am very excited to start modelling and painting. To feed that urge in the meantime, I have decided to start building some smaller terrain pieces with the intent of donating them to my FLGS. Many of the pieces that I am interested in building would need to be scaled to fit model bases. Are the standard Bolt Action bases about the same as GW? Dread bases about right for mortars, etc...?
Thanks for the info

I would say that is fine to work off, when i was playing bolt action i was basing on 25mm round Renendra bases and that seemed quite common, i always based mortar teams etc the same way however for those that didn't they used 40mm up to 60mm bases. Considering warlord themselves supply 60mm round bases for bolt action support weapons i don't think you would go far wrong using that as a guide

Great, thanks for the reply! I was pretty sure that those sizes would work, but I just wanted to double check. I was particularly concerned with the support weapons, as I the first pieces I am making are gun nests and sand bag emplacements.
