Hey there, I'm a wargamer's girlfriend. I've volunteered to build some terrain and such like for my bloke and our mates. They're playing
40k. I encourage that; it gives me a quiet Sunday afternoon.
There is a partially painted Night Lord army squatting on my dining table, and I've been stabbed in the hand by a
WIP Rhino. Like a true wargamer, when I told my partner, his immediate response was "Is the Rhino okay?"
I played a game of Mordheim, once, and won, which satisfied my urge to wargame. I've
GM'd Dark Heresy and WFRP though, so I can claim a reasonable knowledge of the universes, blah blah blah. Currently playing Dark Heresy, where I get no special privileges for being the
GM's girlfriend. Damn.
Apparently, knitted and crocheted scenery is
Not On, despite my many and varied arguments in it's favour. I will persevere in that regard, while using up my stash of glue, foamboard and corrugated card. I may even move onto model painting, if only to get my table back
