Really enjoyed painting the banshees up, from codex grey undercoat via 8-9 layers through fortress grey to skull white.





Also did the snow a new way than to the rest of my army, I just did 3 layers, adding a smaller one after the last had full dried, much happier with the result than what I got using DAS as the base then coating it with snow.

Also the 'stone' is just a bit of bark chip from the garden. Free but very effective.

That does look more like melting snow and less like cotton wool. Nice basing.

I think it would look much better with some ghostly blue or ectoplasma green. Now it's just the boring dead grey (but very nice paint job).

Unfortunately I had to go with the greys to match my spirit hosts:

Ooh, very ghastly. Suprising how well greys and whites work, though they appear more like statues than ghosts without context.

As amusing as your card is (and it is amusing), unfortunately most posts on the first page are inane and not significant. I will respect your request as a moderator however, as long as there is no significant substance to resurrect. In my own defence, however, perhaps not yourself, but other moderators have closed threads that are repeats of long, long, long, looooong dead threads, which were created by a different user in times past.

I still enjoyed your banshees, and will most likely remember this color scheme when I wish to make statues for a 40k table that aren't dark dark blue or derived from a black base.

Not much of a defense there as you were the necromancer in this case Skin ^_-.
