Following on with the use of mini dioramas in my VC army I've got the bats attacking some stirland archers.

I painted the bats on the right hand base first and am not as happy with the result as I just used thinned codex grey. The other 2 had black undercoat and then multiple layers of codex grey that had been thinned to translucency. Took ages but was worth it. Again the 20/0 brush was my friend.

Ahhh more great Gonads dirommas. Good stuff as usual - including the banshees and the count - and I actually never realized just how colorful the army is, if you ignore all those dead things obscuring the empire lads

We've seen so much of the army come together, how does it do on the table? Have you managed to find time for a game or two, or just spend your tiny bits of freetime on (very nice) painting?

All the same, thanks for sharing!

I've played 9 games at 2250 points at 2 tourneys (and am playing another 6 games, starting in 2 hours at another tourney this weekend) and I've found them to be very, very hit and miss.

When I win I tend to win with a 20-0 victory but when I lose its a massive loss.
There were two games where I won by a couple hundred points but in both games my opponenets were playing for a draw after turn 2 or so as I'd gotten the drop on them and they clawed their way back thanks to pints denial.
This will be the first time I've used a Vampire Count so it should be an interesting experience.
