I am looking for some advice on some forgeworld stuff. I ave been amassing a space marine army that i am planning to run as dark angels. The theme i am going for with my army is a heavy infantry siege force, so I am focusing on green and death wing troops. I would like to include something big from forge world but i can't decide what would be the most effective vehicle but also the most thematic for my force.

I have been considering a Storm Eagle because it seems to have enough fire power deal with other air combatants while also having some fairly heavy armor and the ability to deliver a full 10 man squad of terminators.
The Caestus Assault Ram seems like it fits my theme even better but i am afraid that it is so specialized it will not be very useful most of them time. I mean forcibly inserting a ten man squad of terminators into the enemies rectum with the help of a magna melta seems really cool, but after initial penetration it just doesn't seem like i will be getting a whole lot of use out of it.
I have also considered a Spartan Assault tank but it just seems like a giant land raider and not really any special.
I am starting to lean more towards the Caestus just because i think its really cool and i can always just take more flakk missiles other places to take care of enemy flyers.

Also this army is for fun at all cost and in no way competitive, i am not really interested in the meta or anything like that I just enjoy collecting and would rather play friendly gamers or apoc with this stuff.

Any thoughts? the fluffier the better.

Has anyone used either the Storm Eagle or the Caestus before?

What are your feelings on the Stormraven? Would it be worth using vanilla allies?

The Storm Eagle makes sense in virtually any space marine army.

The Caestus and Spartan are both very suitable to a siege army.

Go with whichever you like most.

I cannot speak to its effectiveness as I've never seen it fielded, but I think the Spartan would be the fluffiest. Not only is it very appropriate to a siege army, but of the three it is the least common in the 41st millennium. The other two are fielded by numerous chapters (perhaps the Caestus more than the Storm Eagle), but the Spartan hasn't seen widespread use since the Horus Heresy (if I remember correctly). This fits very well with a Dark Angels list, since they are notorious hoarders of archaeotech.

The Spartan is literally a beast. I have only ever had great experiences with it. But when it comes down to it. All three make sense and whichever you like the look of most is what you should go with
