So a bunch of us have bailed out of GW and got into DUST... We are all brand new to it and have no one showing us the ropes so to speak so its a group effort.

I am playing Allies which get to use a lot of JUMP moves...

I was wondering about a dirty trick I cam up with was legal.....

Use a March Move on a Hammer unit and drop them 24" behind a walker. I wont be able to punch them this round.

When my opponent activates the walker regardless of what he chooses to do.. Either Move, Turn or shoot at another unit.. I should be able to REACT by attacking it in CC.

Of course I would attack at the START of the movement phase so it couldnt rotate around and then I would be hitting it in the rear....


This seems to work in my brain and according to the rules but maybe im missing something? Is it legal?

The problem lands with actions. it takes a reaction to do this and a reaction costs one normal action. short march move no but get a special hq with fast and put them in (the plus six) it will cost you six inches but it will allow you to do this. but with a march move you can't. ran into a similar problem with some red devils and that did the trick for me.

Actually you can React as long as you don't have a Suppression and/or a Reaction marker.

So you can attack said Walker, even though you March Moved, long as:
A- Your within attack range/reaction range
B- Not been suppressed or reacted already

Pg 34 Core Rules.

Also, remember Jump Soldier (not Vehicles) can't be reacted to if they move/land within reaction range.
